New Term at Eastleigh Club & Mini's

We had a great first session back at Eastleigh this week.

The children had great fun choosing the games they wanted to play. img_3489
We played a rather long game of badminton but instead of scoring against each other the object of the game was to try to have as long rallies as possible. The number of hits made in each rally was noted down and we had to try to better our score each time. It was great fun and even though there was a scoring involved the only people we were trying to compete against were ourselves!
The children also enjoyed making masks on the art and craft table. This week was the anniversary of Roald Dahl’s birth and many of the children had been dressing up at school and reading some of his stories. We had a chat about everyone’s favourite stories and what they had been doing at school.
It was a great first session back and the children are looking forward to the rest of the term.
