Your access to and use of Action for People’s websites are subject to these Terms of Use, Action for Peoples websites Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of together with such terms of use for blogs, forums, form submissions and uploads as may be current at the time. Your use of Action for Peoples websites constitutes your unqualified agreement to accept and comply with such Terms of Use and not to breach, or to encourage or assist any other person to breach, these Terms of Use.

1. Use of Action for People’s Websites
Action for People’s website is offered as a free information service for anyone who wishes to find out more and can be accessed by visiting our main site at www.actionforpeople.org.uk Whilst we use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information onAction for People’s Website, errors may occur. Action for People is not a medical organisation, therefore we can only provide general information that is not intended to be a substitute for a proper medical assessment. The information contained on our websites was correct at the time of writing. However, due to research and medical advances, the content may not be completely up to date.

4. Trade Marks, Logos and Service Marks
Action for Peoples and associated project logos, the trade marks, logos and service marks (collectively the Trade Marks) displayed on Action for People’s Websites (whether registered or unregistered) are and shall remain the property of their respective owners. Unless otherwise stated, nothing contained in Action for People’s Website shall be construed as granting any licence or right to use any Trade Mark displayed on Action for People’s Websites without the prior written consent of the relevant Trade Mark owner. Whilst we try to keep our anti-virus software up-to-date we do not warrant that Action for People’s Websites, its servers, downloadable files or emails which may be sent by us, are free from viruses or other harmful components. Certain areas of Action for People’s Websites contains facilities which allow you to upload text and photographs. 7. Send to a friend facilities

For the avoidance of doubt all of the other provisions of the Terms of Use shall also apply to your use of the Facilities. We may (but are not obliged to) monitor the contents of messages sent using the Facilities (Messages) and we assume no liability arising from the content of any Message. You undertake: to accept full responsibility for the contents of any Messages; to use the Facilities only for lawful purposes; not to send inaccurate, defamatory, abusive, offensive, pornographic, racist, sexist, threatening, vulgar, obscene, hateful or otherwise inappropriate material or material which will constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability or which may cause offence in relation to sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability or working status in any Messages; not to harass or upset third parties through your use of the Facilities; not to include in Messages any material which refers to a third party or is protected by confidentiality, copyright, trade mark or other propriety right without the express permission of the third party owner; not to impersonate any person or to assume a false identity; not to send Messages to any person under the age of 18; not to send personal information about yourself or any third party using the Facilities; not to insert material into Messages which contains viruses, files or programs that are designed to disrupt, damage or limit the functioning of any software or hardware equipment; not to use the Facilities for any commercial purpose or to send advertisements, chain letters, surveys, pyramid schemes or requests for money; and not to use the Facilities in order to obtain unauthorised access to data or other information of ours or any third party. You acknowledge that the recipient of your Message will be able to identify you from the information you provide when submitting your Message and that we will cooperate with any person, law enforcement authority or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone sending material using the Facilities in breach of the Terms of Use, any law (whether civil or criminal) or the legal rights of any party.

8. Donations and Gift Aid
If you make a donation using Action for People’s Website you may be able to take advantage of the United Kingdom Governments Gift Aid scheme. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information submitted to Action for People’s relative to being a UK taxpayer is true and accurate. 9. Provision of Services
These Terms of Use do not deal with the terms upon which we will provide any service advertised on Action For People UK Websites. We will tell you the terms upon which a service will be provided at the time you ask us to provide it. If the service is to be provided by a third party, the third partys terms will apply to that service.

10. Liability
Your use of Action for People’s Websites is at your own risk. Action should not be taken without first obtaining specific advice.
