News Update from the Summer here at Action for People

The organisation has gone through several changes over the Summer, we said goodbye to our Operations Director who provided the organisation with invaluable support throughout her time with us. We were pleased to welcome two new Directors from Northern Ireland as we prepare to work with communities and young people in the province in 2019. So more exciting company news to follow as this new line of work unfolds. 

The focus on providing volunteer support to charities and organisation continued over the summer as we oversaw the volunteering side for GO (Great Opportunities) Together which included DBS checking, safeguarding training and making sure that volunteers had the opportunity to improve their skill sets by engaging in training that we had on offer. Here are two of the Storehouse team, Rob and Diane, who both passed their Safeguarding Level 2 and Hygiene Level 2 certificates on a day course with Action.
